Vera Johns

I have been painting all my life mostly in watercolours. I began by painting flowers, mostly botanical paintings,but graduated to painting wedding bouquets as a keepsake for brides and their families. These paintings have been commisioned from all over this country and America. Whilst living in London I exhibited in various exhibitions including those of the Royal Watercolour Society. After moving to Devon with my family I began to develop my range to include landscapes inspired by the beautiful Devon countryside and to experiment with the unique light in the westcountry. Recently I have been painting with oils and adding a new dimension to my work. I am a member of the CanzArt group of artists and regularly exhibit in a variety of venues in the southwest I take commisions for wedding bouquets, landscapes and flower paintings.
